Drew S. Burk is a cultural theorist, editor, and translator of contemporary French philosophy. Burk has studied at L’Institut D’Etudes Politiques in Aix-en-Provence, France as well as the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. He has translated some of the most influential cultural theorists and philosophers of the last 30 years such as Jean Baudrillard, Paul Virilio, Gilbert Simondon. His most recent translation is Photo-Fiction, a Non-Standard Aesthetics by François Laruelle. He lives in Minneapolis where he is the Director of Univocal, an independent publisher of philosophy and theory.
