#FirstFriday: 5 July 2013

0

This First Friday, the ICA Boston hosts a special event inspired by their current exhibition of California-based artist Barry McGee. Old-school surf videos mark the night as well as a liver performance by surf-rock band Abadabad. While there make sure to stick around for tours of their current exhibitions. The Museum of Fine Arts First Friday event is hosted from 6:00—9:30 pm. Join them for fine art, and music by DJ Denise LaCarubba.

Or you could head to the South End and over to the SOWA District art galleries (450 Harrison Street in the South End) from 5-8pm. SOWA galleries and artists’ studios are FREE and open to the public of all ages.

Some of the Big Red & Shiny team will be out on the town tonight. Look out for the #FirstFriday hashtag. Say hello!
