Rachell Sumpter grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco. Swayed and beguiled by nature, she travels throughout the west coast of the US to find relics of inspiration. Her work has been exhibited worldwide and profiled in a variety of art, design and culture publications including Artforum.com, The Boston Globe, San Francisco Cronicle, Mean Magazine, Giant Robot, Artweek, The Art of McSweeneys, and Color magazine, to name a few. Sarah Pollman holds a BFA (2007) and MFA (2014) from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University. Pollman is a 2013 recipient of the Art Writing Workshop from the AICA-USA and Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program and a 2014 Curatorial Opportunity Program curator at the New Art Center in Newton. Allison Vanouse is a Boston-based performer and playwright in the tradition of Izumo no Okuni. She is an administrator for the Association of Literary Scholars, Critics, and Writers and a literary editor for Riot of Perfume. Allison was graduated from Brandeis University in 2009, and has participated in the Saratoga International Theater Institute (SITI Company).2 Articles
Maggie Cavallo is dedicated to activating relationships, advising institutional methods for working with the arts and optimizing the role of artists in society today. Her practice is curatorial, programmatic and socially-engaged; directed towards providing dynamic learning experiences with, through and for contemporary art and artists. Cavallo oversees Alter projects, a platform that fosters artistic infrastructure through custom arts programming and consultation for artists, organizations and the private sector. She is also an Adjunct Instructor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s Art Education Program and a Research and Teaching Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she also received her Ed.M in Arts in Education. She received a BA in Media, Society and the Arts from SUNY Purchase.2 Articles
