This month's #FirstFriday is filled with work sure to make you forget your Winter blues.
Tonight from 6:00—9:00pm at their Brattle Campus in Cambridge (Washburn Hall — 10 Phillips Place), Lesley University opens their MFA Biennial Exhibition Objectified featuring work by over 100 alumni of the Art Institute of Boston’s MFA Program. The Museum of Fine Arts Boston also hosts its MFA First Friday event tonight from 6:00-9:30pm, featuring DJ Holtie. Tickets available online through their website or in person at the museum, 21+.
As always, the SOWA District art galleries (450 Harrison Street) will be open with new and continuing shows from 5:00pm-8pm. The SOWA galleries and artists’ studios are FREE and open to the public of all ages. Of note tonight, Forms of Identity, a group show of senior MassArt Fibers students opens at Kingston Gallery, Boston Sculptors celebrates their 20th anniversary, and David Curcio continues at Laconia Gallery.
Some of the Big Red & Shiny team will be out on the town tonight. Look out for the #FirstFriday hashtag. Say hello!
