Jessica Gath is no stranger to Big Red & Shiny. In 2010, BR&S was there at MEME Gallery to cover her performance The World Famous Secretary in For You and in 2011, Anulfo Baez was at The Hallway Gallery to watch her performance For You I Feel Lucky. As part of the big celebration this Saturday, Gath will be performing Big, Red & _______, conceived as part of a body of work called Ten Years of Fun. The performance is a celebration of words by a word lover for word lovers.
Naoko Brown, Callie Chapman, Wayne Ong and Yuka Takahashi are Zoe Dance. The group performed at the BCA during Movement at the Mills last year, and this piece will continue their exploration of projection, video delay and the dancers' reaction to that delay.
