Welcome to Studio Sessions with our guest this episode, Caitlin Masley.
Caitlin earned a BFA from West Virginia University, an MFA from the University of Arizona, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Design and Urban ecologies from Parsons in New York City. In her work, Caitlin creates structures that express both the geometric and organic qualities of cities. Once executed as stand-alone sculptures, her works have grown to become large-scale installations, along with other two-dimensional mixed media and digital pieces.
Listen as she describes her view of man-made structures and environments, and how her interest in this subject is compelling her to move beyond making artwork about it.
