0

This past week, the ICA announced that the opening of the new new South Boston waterfront building will be delayed. The $51 million facility, under construction since 2004, slated to open this upcoming September 17th, will postpone its opening for later in the fall, citing construction delays.

The Diller Scofidio + Renfro designed building is located in Boston's Fan Pier and will replace the 955 Boylston St. building - the ICA's residence since 1978. The ICA's inaugural exhibitions will feature Super Vision, a hosting of international artists, and winners of the ICA Prize, featuring work by Boston artists.
