On September 15, the Institute of Contemporary Art broke ground on the construction of its new building. The fantastic structure, which appears to defy both gravity and logic, will be on Fan Pier in Fort Point. This will be the first new museum building in Boston in nearly 100 years.
At Big RED, we couldn't be more excited about a new ICA. The possibility of building a collection of contemporary works, and of a renewed commitment to the arts in general, can only bring Boston closer to the forefront of the world art scene. Bravo!
