It may be Big RED's second birthday, but we are not about looking back and harping on the past. Instead, we are looking to the future of Boston, and what great things are in store in the years to come. We may still be the new kid on the block, but that doesn't mean we can't look around and pick up on a few trends. Who knows, we may even make a few trends ourselves.

This past year was a big one for us. Our loyal audience has more than tripled since our first anniversary issue, and each passing day we hear more and more how our little pink website is helping artists, galleries, curators and art-lovers in New England. Your response has gone beyond anything we could have predicted, so we have vowed not to be caught off-guard again.

With an eye toward the future, the Big RED staff has pulled together their collective readings from tea-leaves, crystal balls, the lines of their palms, and the residual effects of staring at the sun for too long to tell you what they have seen in our future. We advise that you use this information for stock purchases, off-track betting, and other such lucrative ventures. We only ask that you share some of your profits with us.

The future awaits, so read on gentle viewer. As Christopher Lloyd once exclaimed: "Where we're going, they don't have roads!"
