Be mindful that you need to purchase your ticket in advance and we only have a limited number--so get yours early, and don't forget to share the invite with your friends!

So what are you waiting for? Purchase your general admission passes through the red TICKETS button below and purchase early as they are only available for sale online through Wednesday, September 3rd at 5pm. You can also purchase at the door, but it'll be cash only and we can't guarantee the number left we'll have available!

Tuesday September 2 — Tuesday September 30 2014

131 Southwest Circle, Amherst, Massachusetts
Sarah Meyers Brent: Living Paint

Sarah’s works explore the viscous ooze at the creation and termination of life. Using globs of dried paint, recycled fabric, paint rags, and decaying flowers, her mixed-media pieces flow out of and accrete to the canvas and walls. In the dialogue between the themes of growth and decay pervading her paintings, sculptures, and collages, Sarah’s works are themselves in a state of flux, as if going in though their own degradation. Sarah believes that "In this age of technology, when we are steps removed from nature it is important for art to allow the viewer to experience what is alive and physical."

Opening Reception:
Sunday September 7
2 pm - 4 pm

Dan Boardman and Dylan Nelson: Skin and Bones
Skin and Bones is a two part exhibition of photographs by Dan Boardman and Dylan Nelson.

This two person show takes its name from an unrealized Ray Harryhausen film. The film was based on Throne Smiths novel about a photographer who while messing around in the darkroom discovers a chemical compound that makes him nearly invisible. The compound leaves only his skeleton. The second part of the exhibition will open at Boston University's Annex Gallery on Tuesday, September 30th!

Opening Reception: Thursday September 4

Saturday September 6, 2014 — Sunday October 5*

Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, 28 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY
SANS SERIF | New Paintings by Randall Schmit
Randall Schmit’s paintings often pose existential questions that are both metaphorical and openly psychological…few artists today are capable of retaining the kind of eccentric beauty, confessional poetics, and sheer visual power that characterizes the work of Randall Schmit." [Source]
