In partnership with the Cinema and Media Studies program, the Davis invites three prominent photographers with work on view in A Generous Medium to participate in an unusual and exciting Sunday series—not to lecture on their own work or practice, per se, but instead to bring their photographic perspective to bear in a trans-medial context. Each artist selects a film, introduces the screening, and manages a lively Q&A following.

UNA-GB is partnering with Emerson College to screen the film Kinyarwanda with the producer of the film. Kinyarwanda provides the most complex and real description yet presented of human resilience and life during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.
